2. Scope of this notice

This notice explains how ALT4C processes personal data while providing the TIKS SaaS ticketing and event registration platform. It covers processor-side platform operations and does not replace controller notices published by event organizers.

3. Processing model

• TIKS processes personal data only on documented instructions from event organizers.
• TIKS does not independently determine controller-side purposes or essential means of processing.
• Each event organizer is an independent Data Controller and is responsible for legal transparency toward end users.
• Processing is performed under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with each organizer.

4. Categories of personal data processed

Depending on event configuration, TIKS may process:

• Identity and contact data (for example: full name, email, phone number)
• Registration and ticketing data (ticket type, order/payment status, check-in status)
• Event-specific participant information requested by the organizer
• Communication metadata related to service confirmations
• Technical and security data (IP address, timestamps, user agent, logs)

5. Sources of data

• End users submitting event registration/ticketing forms
• Event organizers and authorized organizer staff
• Systems needed for secure platform operation

6. Purposes of processing by TIKS (as processor)

• Operating event registration and ticketing workflows
• Issuing and validating tickets
• Providing organizer support
• Maintaining platform security, integrity, and availability
• Backup, disaster recovery, and incident response

7. Lawful basis

Lawful basis for event data processing is determined by each event organizer (controller). For TIKS processor-side operations, processing is based on contractual necessity, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in platform security and reliability.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

TIKS uses strictly necessary cookies for core platform and security functions. Non-essential cookies (for example analytics/marketing) are subject to consent where required by applicable law.

9. Recipients and subprocessors

TIKS may use vetted subprocessors (such as hosting, infrastructure, observability, and communication providers) solely to deliver the service. Subprocessors are contractually bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. Subprocessor details are available upon request at [email protected].

10. International transfers

If cross-border transfers occur, TIKS applies appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

11. Retention and deletion

TIKS retains data according to controller instructions, contractual obligations, and legal/security requirements. Upon valid controller instruction or contract termination, data is deleted or returned per DPA terms unless retention is legally required.

• Monitoring, audit logs, and incident handling

13. Data subject rights

For event registration data, rights requests (access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability) should be directed to the relevant event organizer (controller). TIKS assists controllers in handling requests as required by law and contract.

14. Personal data breaches

TIKS maintains incident response procedures and notifies affected controllers without undue delay after confirming a personal data breach, in line with DPA and legal requirements.

15. Children’s data

Event organizers are responsible for defining whether and how children’s data is collected lawfully. TIKS processes such data only under organizer instructions.
